Yey! My first post!
Ok, well I guess since I have yet to submit anything, I'm still a nobody.
But I've realy come to like this site so I think It's time I contribute something!!!
So, last year I got myself a copy of Flash CS3, and have since been trying my hand at flash animation. I've become reasonable good at it over the months that I've used it, and here's a few things I've learned that anyone thinking of getting into the Animation game needs to consider.
#1 It takes alot of effort
Need I explain?
#2 You need to plan your work.
A good video starts away from the keyboard and mouse, a little planning can go along way,
If you know what your doing, your more likely to do it.
#3 You need to be a committed
Most people will give up half way through
#4 YOU NEED TIME
It literally takes hours to make minutes, and especially if your a newbie, good videos take weeks
#5 Learn to draw
Well, some usually don't take this into consideration.
But people tend to like your videos more if you do, I'm serious!
Currently I'm struggling with #4, with my over achieving High School career, and my under achieving social life. I only get time to think creative during the holidays. But, I will be making a video soon (Before I matriculate), and don't plan on posting again till then, so
WATCH THIS SPACE.
